CentraState Welcomes Four New Neurosurgeons

From CentraState Healthcare Systems:

Neurosurgeons Mark R. McLaughlin, MD, Nirav K. Shah, MD, Seth Joseffer, MD, and Dani Bidros, MD, have joined the medical staff at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. They provide individualized care to emergency patients, inpatients and outpatients suffering from neurologic disorders, including head trauma, spinal cord injury, neck and back pain, and neuromuscular disorders. They are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and service through an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach and developing a treatment plan focused on meeting the patients’ goals.

Dr. McLaughlin is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, and a fellowship in complex spine surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. His areas of expertise are cranial conditions and specific spine disorders. In addition to being the medical director at Princeton Brain & Spine Care, he is the author of numerous articles about his research interests and editor of spineuniverse.com—a website dedicated to patient and physician education of spinal disorders.

Dr. Shah is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, and completed his residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. His areas of expertise are complex spinal surgery and intracranial tumor radiosurgery. Dr. Shah has presented his clinical research findings at numerous symposiums and has been published in several peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Joseffer earned a medical degree from and completed his residency at New York University Medical School in New York City, NY. He specializes in the application of minimally invasive surgical procedures in cranial and spinal surgery.

Dr. Bidros is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA, and a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical surgery spine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.  His clinical interests include complex spine, cranial and spinal oncology.
