Freehold Resident Teams Up With Monmouth University to Help Food Bank
A Freehold resident teamed up with Monmouth University football players to help the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Freehold resident and Stop & Shop District Director, Stephanie Cain, of The Neptune Stop & Shop helped unload 1,500 turkeys that the supermarket donated to The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Joined by Monmouth University’s tight end Tyler George and defensive back Clark Coe, the efforts made by all involved have helped local residents get back some sense of normalcy by enabling them to celebrate a traditional Thanksgiving.
According to the press release, The Food Bank says that at least a dozen of the food pantries that the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties supplies have either been destroyed or are not operating at this time.
