Outrage and disgust are the only words that I can express at this time of the "not guilty" verdict in the Casey Anthony trial in Florida. Unfortunately, I had a feeling a few days ago that this would be the outcome of this case. This feeling is a result of media over publicizing this case for the last three years. As well, as too many talking heads weighing in and beating this case to death. What potential juror could be non partisan in this case of a young mother who could commit such a horrific act on a defenseless child. The defense would play up the reasonable doubt factor by portraying that this young woman came from a dysfunctional family. To add more hoopla to the spectacle they throw an allegation that she was molested by her father and brother. These allegations were unfounded but are now thrown into the mix of doubt. A series of botched police investigation, the grandparents not stepping up much sooner into the disappearance of Caylee. Not to mention the smell of decomposing human remains in the trunk of Casey's car as an indicator of something criminal. But the "cuda gras" is that action is only taken 31 days later after the child goes missing. Casey in this time is getting a tatoo, hanging out with friends, and partying. Call me crazy, but if my child were missing I would be getting all the support in the universe in finding my child. This young woman is a classic sociopath plain and simple. I believe in the justice system that a person is innocent until proven guilty, but this case was overwhelmingly bizzarre. Fact is Casey was the last person to be with this child. She knows without a doubt what happened whether accidently or intentionally. Casey Anthony will have to live with this guilt over her head the rest of her life. There is an old adage that applies here--what goes around, comes around. My hope is that this little angel is surrounded by love in heaven, because the people who were suppose to cherish and love Caylee betrayed her.
