CentraState Healthcare System is offering a new interactive nutrition program.

The class called, Kids Cooking for Kids, is for children and their parents. The program will kick off on Wednesday, March 6 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus Conference Center.

As part of the fun-filled evening, kids will be treated to a cooking demonstration by the culinary students from Freehold High School, complete with tasting samples. Following the cooking demo, parents and kids can attend a presentation on healthy eating for families by Rachel Tansey, Family & Community Health Sciences Program Associate for the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Monmouth County. Light refreshments will be provided.
