CentraState Offers Free Physician Lecture On Lung Cancer
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m.
CentraState Healthcare System, in conjunction with The Cancer Support Community, is offering the free physician lecture, Frankly Speaking About Lung Cancer, with Robert Caccavale, MD, Jean-Philippe Bocage, MD, and Joseph Pepek, MD.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 7 to 8 p.m. at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus.
While the prognosis of lung cancer is very serious, many patients are successfully treated and go on to live cancer-free lives. In fact, more than 400,000 Americans diagnosed with lung cancer are still living today. This can be attributed to earlier diagnosis and state-of-the-art surgical advancements which can even send patients home the same day.
Frankly Speaking About Lung Cancer is an interactive lecture designed to empower people affected by lung cancer with information on treatment, decision-making, side-effect management, and tips to improve quality of life during and after diagnosis.
Space is limited and registration is required. For more information or to register for the lecture, visit centrastate.com/healthprograms or call (732) 308-0570.
