FBEF Participates in New Jersey Marathon
Members and supporters of the Freehold Borough Education Foundation ran or volunteered.
The Freehold Borough Education Foundation participated in the New Jersey Marathon on Sunday, May 1 in Long Branch. Runners needed to raise $250 in pledges for the foundation to compete as a team member in the marathon and half-marathon races. FBEF members and supporters also volunteered their time staffing Relay Transition Points.
Freehold was well-represented at the event, with the following residents participating in the marathon, according to New Jersey Marathon race results: Alexandra Caro, Eric Caro, Margaret A. Covre, Melanee Devorin, Robert Egan, Pat Gatto, Larry Jamsion, Robert Kinsella, Cristin Johnson, Tara Moore, Chad Safran and Carol Van Arsdale.
