Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 51. There is a chance of showers in the evening; otherwise the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 40.

High School Sports

The Colonial girls basketball team will play against Toms River East High School today. The girls will travel to Toms River and take the court at 4 p.m.

The Patriot boys basketball team will take on Toms River North High School today. The boys will travel to Toms River and begin their game at 5 p.m.

Meetings

The Freehold Borough Council will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Freehold Borough Offices.

Blood Drive

The Freehold Borough Education Association’s "Have a Heart Campaign" is sponsoring a community Blood Drive today from 3 p.m. until 8p.m. in the gymnasium of the Park Avenue Elementary School. Call Tricia Cundari at 732-761-2100 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Photography Exhibit

The Jewish Heritage Museum’s photography exhibit named “Monmouth County’s Jewish Experience in Pictures: A Photography Exhibit” will begin today at 10 a.m.

The photographs on display capture in pictures the people, architecture, families, traditions, history, and faith of the county's Jewish population, both past and present. The exhibit is the culmination of the Museum's recent juried photography contest and features all submitted entries, as well as the winners of both amateur and professional categories.
