The open seat on the Freehold Borough Board of Education (BOE) was officially filled Thursday night.
Going into the 2012 elections, three, three-year seats were open on the board as well as one, one-year seat. In 2012, board vice president Ron Reich made the decision to leave his three-year seat on the board. After the election, Susan Greitz, then serving a one-year term, made the move to a three-year seat on the board. Greitz and incumbents Dr. Michael Lichardi and Maureen MacCutcheon were all sworn into another three-year term on the board.
Michele Tennant filled the open one-year seat on the board. Tennant beat out opponent Paul Ceppi during the election. She was sworn in on Thursday, and immediately took her new seat on the BOE.
