Freehold Borough Council Appoints New FBFD Volunteer
A new member was appointed to the Freehold Borough Fire Department at the Jan. 22 Freehold Borough Council meeting.
The Freehold Borough Fire Department (FBFD) has a new member.
At the Sunday, Jan. 6 Freehold Borough Reorganization meeting, the council approved Mayor Nolan Higgins’ nominations and appointments for 2013. Following up from that original list of appointments, the council approved the appointment of a new FBFD member.
Christian Rios was appointed as the newest member of the FBFD Engine Co. 2. His appointment became effective on Jan. 22.
The council also confirmed the resignation for James E. Coleman as a member of the Lake Topanemus Commission. Coleman’s resignation was effective Dec. 31 2012.
