Former Freehold resident, Susan E. Duenas died on Jan. 18 in Pasadena, Calif. at the age of 28.

Duenas was the daughter of Michael and Rita Duenas of Freehold. She graduated from Freehold High School and was a graduate of Kean University where she obtained a BA degree in Psychology. She also obtained an MBA from Georgian Court University in 2011.

Duenas leaves behind her parents and her brothers Shawn and Glenn Duenas. She also leaves her paternal grandfather, Joaquin Duenas and her maternal grandmother Francisca Vera.

Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Friday, Feb. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in Colts Neck at 9 a.m. on Saturday Feb. 2, followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
