According to the indictment, the man allegedly sexually assaulted a woman who was not capable of providing consent for the alleged action.
A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict a Freehold man on one count of burglary and one count of aggravated sexual assault following his December arrest.
Freehold Township Police arrested Ivan Vasquez, 26, of Stonehurst Boulevard, for his alleged involvement in a Dec. 1 incident. According to a prior report, Vasquez was arrested only one week after he allegedly sexually assaulted another woman in her Stonehurst Boulevard apartment.
Vasquez’s indictment states that on Dec. 1 he allegedly committed a crime of aggravated sexual assault against a woman who Vasquez knew or should have known was incapable of understanding the nature of the conduct.
The second charge Vasquez was indicted on was burglary. According to his indictment, Vasquez unlawfully entered the woman’s apartment with the intent to commit an offense there.
