Freehold Regional HS District Closed Monday and Tuesday

An announcement confirming the ongoing schedule will be made on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

A message from the Freehold Regional High School District:

Due to the significant impact of Hurricane Sandy and to ensure the safety of our students and staff, the Freehold Regional High School District will be closed on Monday, November 5 and Tuesday, November 6.

We will be honoring the request of the Commissioner of Education and hopefully will be able to conduct regular school days on Wednesday, November 7, Thursday, November 8 and Friday, November 9.

An announcement confirming this schedule will be made on Tuesday, November 6.

On Tuesday, November 6 our building administrators will return to work to assure that all aspects of our buildings are prepared to host our students. The safety of our students is our primary concern.

We understand that the revised schedule may pose difficulties for some, however, provided the extraordinary circumstances, we feel that returning to a normal school schedule will benefit the entire community.

We wish you and your family all the best during this difficult time.

Middle schools are not in the high school district. Elementary and middle school closures are dependent on which town you live in, they are separate Boards of Education from FRHSD.
