A Freehold Township student athlete will represent the Patriots as a Monmouth University Hawk next year.

Patriots coach Mike D'Antonio told All Shore Media, that Manny Maragoto, a defensive end for the Freehold Township Patriots, verbally committed to play Division I football at Monmouth University next fall.

Maragoto is a two-time All-Class A North selection and finished his high school career with 18 sacks and started every game as a senior.

According to All Shore Media, Maragoto will officially sign his binding National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day which is Wednesday, Feb. 6.
