Freehold Township Special Brush Collection

Jackson Mills Road drop-Off center open will open for storm-related materials.

Freehold Township will hold a special brush collection following Sandy's destructive storm path through New Jersey.

Residents should place brush on their street on Monday, Nov. 5 by 7 a.m., the township advised in a phone message sent through the Freehold Area Municipal Notification System. It may take several days for the township to complete the brush pickup and streets will only be passed through once. Brush is limited to eight feet in length and eight inches wide.

In addition, the Recycling Drop-Off Center at the Department of Public Works' Jackson Mills Road Facility will be open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for storm-related materials. Only refuse from the storm will be accepted at that time. Do not bring regular recyclables.
