Important September School Dates
A list of dates to remember if your child is in the Freehold Township or Freehold Borough School District.
Although September marks the beginning of a new school year, it also has multiple days off and early dismissals. Below is a list of days Freehold Township and Freehold Borough Schools have off for.
Freehold Township Schools
Sept. 11 – Back to School Night for parents with Students in the Marshall W. Errickson Elementary School.
Sept. 12 – Back to School Night for parents with students in the Joseph J. Catena Elementary School and in the West Freehold Elementary School. The Catnea’s School Back to School night will begin at 6:30 p.m. The West Freehold School’s Back to School Night will begin at 7 p.m.
Sept. 17 – District closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah
Sept. 18 – District closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah
Sept. 20 – Back to School Night for parents with students in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School and in the Early Childhood Learning Center Back to School Night will begin at 6:45 p.m. for Eisenhower parents and 7 p.m. for Early Childhood Learning Center parents.
Sept. 26 – District closed in observance of Yom Kippur
Sept. 27 – Back to School Night for parents with students in the Clifton T. Barkalow Middle School and in the C. Richard Applegate Elementary School. Back to School night for Barkalow will begin at 6:45 p.m. Back to School Night for Applegate will begin at 7 p.m.
Freehold Borough Schools
Sept. 17 – District closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
Sept. 18 – District closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
Sept. 20 – Back to School night for parents with students in the Freehold Intermediate School. Back to School night will begin at 7 p.m. There will be an early dismissal that day.
Sept. 26 – District is closed in observance of Yom Kippur.
Sept. 27 – Back to School night for parents with students in Park Avenue Elementary School and Freehold Learning Center. Back to School night will begin at 7 p.m. There will be an early dismissal that day.
