Man Arrested and Charged with Robbery of Juvenile

Local man charged with robbery after his Tuesday arrest.

 

A Freehold man faces two charges of robbery after he allegedly took possessions from a juvenile.

Carl J. Davis, 46, of Throckmorton Street, was arrested on Tuesday, July 10 by Freehold Borough Police Lieutenant Michael Sweetman. According to the complaint warrant, Davis was allegedly present during the robbery of the juvenile and allegedly participated in the robbery of the victim. 

The complaint warrant further explains that there was probable cause to arrest Davis following victim statements and a police investigation. Davis has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $30,000 bail for the two charges.
