Man Arrested for Allegedly Breaking into Freehold Borough Home
The Englishtown man also gave police false information upon arrest.
Freehold Borough Police arrested an Englishtown man for breaking into a borough home on June 15.
Lawrence Preston, 26, of Englishtown, allegedly broke into a home on West Main St. by damaging the screen door and the lock. When the police asked for his information, he gave them a false name and birthday.
According to the complaint warrant, Preston is charged with burglary, hindering and criminal mischief.
He had outstanding warrants at the time of his arrest. He was wanted in Greenville, North Carolina.
Preston is scheduled to appear in court on June 19 at 1:00 p.m. His bail is set at $150,000.
