A 66-year-old man was arrested by Manalapan police for exposing his genitals while walking in the Target parking lot within the Epicentre Shopping Plaza on Route 9 North. 

Ptl. Eric Voorand arrived at the Target on Monday, Sept. 10 at 5:30 p.m. after the report of the man exposing himself was called in, according to police. Upon investigation, Voorand discovered that a female victim and her young daughter witnessed the man exposing himself and then leaving the area.

Detective Kevin Schmidt and Detective Leonard Maltese took over the investigation and were able to identify the supsect through the store's video surveillance footage.

The suspect was identified as Carl R. Davis of Monroe Township. Davis was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 13, charged, and remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of $22,500 bail.

Davis is no longer remanded at MCCI, according to the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office.
