A Freehold man was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on Friday after he allegedly had sexual contact with a child.

Oscar Lopez, 26, of Clinton Street, is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old in Freehold Borough. The alleged sexual contact occurred between July 1, 2011 and April 21, 2012. According to the indictment, on April 21 Lopez allegedly used physical force or coercion to commit an act of sexual penetration upon the child. 

Lopez was indicted on a total of three charges; two counts of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
