A man previously charged with stealing in Freehold now faces additional charges in Marlboro.

Chris Cavallo, 32 of Manalapan was arrested last week and charged with the alleged theft of six vehicles in Marlboro Township during the month of January.

According to county arrest records, Cavallo allegedly stole a woman's pocketbook and $500-$600 worth of gift cards, snowboarding equipment, personal documents, cash, checks jewelry and electronic equipment from six different vehicles within the township.

A Marlboro Police investigation allegedly found stolen items in Cavallo's possession. 

According to Monmouth County Jail records, Cavallo was also charged last week for allegedly stealing credit cards from a parked car and using them at Freehold establishments.

With the combination of charges, Cavallo is being held in the Monmouth County Jail on $135,000 bail.
