Less than a week after the sexual assault and burglary of a Stonehurst Boulevard home, a man has been arrested and charged with the crime.

Freehold Township Police arrested Ivan Vasquez, 26, and charged him with burglary, sexual assault, and theft.

Vasquez, also a resident of Stonehurst Boulevard, allegedly entered a neighbor’s home on Saturday, Dec. 1. According to his complaint warrant, once inside the home, Vazquez sexually assaulted the woman there. Before leaving, he allegedly took $800 from a dresser draw.

Vazquez has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $250,000 bail.
