Newark Women Indicted on Charge of Robbing Freehold Home

Two Newark women allegedly robbed a house and threatened two people inside the home.

A Monmouth County grand jury voted to indict two Newark women with robbery after they allegedly broke into a Freehold home.

Monique A. Kennedy and Raquel N. McLean, both 36, are accused of committing a robbery on Sept. 7. According to their indictment, in the course of the theft both women inflicted bodily injury and threatened the two people within the home.

The indictment did not specify what the threats were, but explained that they made the two people in the residence fear immediate bodily injury.

The area of the alleged robbery was not identified in the court documents.
