UPDATE: Nor'easter Closes Freehold Borough Schools

Two-hour delay changes to school closing.

This story was updated at 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Freehold Borough students will have Thursday off due to inclement weather.

At 6:30 p.m. an announcement on the Freehold Borough School District website stated that schools would operate on a two-hour delayed opening schedule on Thursday. At 10 p.m. that announcement changed to state that all Freehold Borough Schools and Offices would be closed on Thursday because of the weather.

At this time, Friday is still scheduled to be a regular school day. It will be the first full day of school in the last two weeks.

Be thankful you have school, unlike the ridiculous FRHSD which chooses to close the entire district because 1 school does not have power.
