Mildred Candia, 87, of Freehold died on Friday, June 22 at Wedgewood Gardens. 

Candia was born in Freehold and was a lifelong area resident. She was a technician for Bell Labs in Holmdel until her retirement.

Candia was predeceased by her husband Joseph Candia in 1999.  She was the youngest of seven children. Candia is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 a.m. graveside service on Tuesday, June 26 at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home.
