UPDATE: Outages Reach 4,000 as Snow Falls in Freehold
Number of residents without power rise as Nor’Easter hits Monmouth County.

Before power was fully restored, Wednesday’s Nor’Easter caused power outages to rise in Freehold.
According to JCP&L’s outage map, on Thursday morning over 4,000 Freehold reisdents are without power. At 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night, over 3,000. Currently, the map shows 3,871 outages in Freehold Township and 303 outages in Freehold Borough. Before the Nor’Easter hit, some Freehold residents were still without power nine days after Hurricane Sandy hit Monmouth County.
The National Weather Service (NWS) states that a mix of snow and rain will continue to come down throughout tonight and early morning hours with a possibility of two to four inches of accumulation. On Thursday, a rain and snow mixture is believed to continue throughout the morning, bringing an additional half-inch of snow.

Let's add to this story that:
1) There remains absolutely no communication from Jersey Central Power and Light as to when power is going to be restored. Will it be today? Next week? Next month?
2) Jersey Central Power and Light is clearly not investing enough in it's infrastructure. The power should not go out every time there is another storm.
3) As of writing, Jersey Central Power and Light's website contain no estimations for power restoration from "Athena"
I urge everybody reading this who is tired on no updates from JCP&L and repeated power outages to file a complaint with New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. This can be done online at:
