UPDATE: Favorite Italian Places in Freehold
Congratulations to Solo Trattoria, Federici's and BaCo's Pizzeria.
UPDATE: Congratulations to the Italian restaurants that emerged as Patch favorites in Freehold in our unscientific poll this week, especially Solo Trattoria Pizzeria, which drew 60 votes. Federici's and BaCo's Pizzeria received 26 and 23 votes respectively.
Our thanks to all who participated and special thanks to those who posted comments and suggested additional places to be added to the list.
Based on the interest and feedback we received, we're going to continue this feature as "Readers Choice" and will survey other categories of businesses and services in the near future.
Voting closed at 9 a.m. Friday but comments are still welcome. If you have a different point of view than the ones posted here or reflected in the poll results, feel free to express it.

I love Baccos!! since they hve opened they treat people like family sauce is awesome and the pizza is like bkly pizza! I love it!

Solo Trattoria is by far the best Italian Restuarant. It is the only restaurant we go to!! My family comes in from Brooklyn to dine at Solo. The food, no matter what you order, is amazing, and believe me I tried everything on the menu!!! Authentic Italian food. No restuarant compares.

My family loves Solo Trattoria. They serve the best authentic Italian food. We celebrate all our family occasions there. From appetizers like potato pizza and saltimboca (my sons favorite) to great desserts; including artisan cupcakes and the best bread pudding, and everything in between, their food is truly the best. You will never be disappointed.

I love Federici's - all the three of them! That's why everyone tries to copy their pizza. Best salad dressing! Veal Federici is yummy cha cha! I will say though, L'Aqua is new and I've heard no complaints. They're delish also!

In all fairness I got to give props to our friends at Dusal's. They too are consistent and reasonably priced. Not a huge fan of the wait staff though. Another gem not mentioned on the choices is Bella Vita in the Shop Rite shopping center by the old Block Buster. They're not afraid to use garlic and they too are scumptious & reasonably priced.
