Cut Your Own Christmas Tree in Monmouth

Where will you go to get your tree?

With less than a month to go until Christmas many people will be going down into their basements or up into their attics to set up their tree for the holiday season.

For those people brave enough to want to cut down their own real trees the New Jersey Department of Agriculture has put together a list of local farms that have plenty of options to choose from.

The lists are even broken down by county and here in Monmouth County some of the most popular sites are in Manalapan, Howell, Aberdeen and Colts Neck. For more information check out this website or the list below.

Great- cut down a tree, adorn it with ornaments and love it and take pictures of your kids in front of it- then throw it out.

Shep, the only reason xmas tree farms grow Xmas trees is for people to cut the trees and throw them out after Xmas..No diffent ten raising cattle for slaughter later.

Hey Shep,

Didn't your mom teach you not to argue with a guy (Fred M) that can't feed his own family let alone his dog?

Fred doesn't have a pot to whiz in. He voted for Obama. Let him go.

Trees get ground up to make mulch, over time, weather breaks down the mulch into wood born nutrients, that seeps in the ground and gets absorbed into tree roots, then becomes part of the tree,,,, branches, leaves,,,,, seeds. And maybe, one day even a tree again!!

We all know your just trying to be funny Shep, but you simply come across like a jack wagon!!
