My choice isn't available to vote for, so I'll leave it here: Hope Christian Preschool. The staff is caring, dedicated and enthusiastic. We felt that our children were provided with a solid foundation for kindergarten as well as being taught respect, kindness and generosity toward others.

When my first child was ready for school, she was 2.5 in September and not yet fully potty trained. So I decided to send her to a preschool that was in a day care setting. While the daycare/school was adequate (she never got hurt, there were a lot of toys to play with) it was not the setting I was looking for. The student to teacher ratio was very high. Most of the kids were there all day with the same teachers which brought about a different dynamic (the kids behaved more like they were at home instead of behaving like they should at school). Then, I was referred to Sunshine Schoolhouse. The teachers and directors could not be more caring about the students and their families. The student to teacher ratio was very low...3 teachers in the 3 yr. old classroom and two teachers in the Pre-K program. The curriculum is better than the other typical preschools in the area. They do an excellent job challenging students who are more advanced and working with students who need extra help. And most importanty for me, they provide a caring and nurturing environment where students learn how to be kind and respectful to others while understanding how to conduct themselves in school. I could not be happier that both of my children attended Sunshine Schoolhouse, and their Kindergarten teachers appreciated it as well!!

I have three children who have all had the blessing of going to Sunshine Schoolhouse! I cannot imagine sending a child to any other school. From the very first time you meet the staff, you are made to feel right at home, and welcomed into a "family" that will forever hold a bond with you and your children. When my older two come with me to pick up my youngest child, all of the teachers and staff light up - showering them with warm smiles and hugs! My kids love to go back and visit! The staff never forgets a student! Even their wall that displays all the Christmas cards each year, is filled with current students and tons of former students - ones who are even in highschool and older! Sunshine Schoolhouse makes such a positive impact on children, that creates a bond families who go there, never forget! If you are looking for a warm, loving atmostphere, that teaches beyone your expectations of a pre-school, Sunshine Schoolhouse is the best place to be!

I was fortunate enough to send my son to this school when he was 2 for their wonderful Mommy and Me program as well as pre-school for 3's and 4's and Kindergarten Enrichment. We never wanted to leave the school! I could not have been happier with his Pre-school experience. The teachers where so kind, caring and loving. They taught him so much, including reinforcing the Christian values we had at home. I was so impressed with the staff and Susan Frank and Lois Furlong the directors I jumped at the chance to work in an environment like the one at Sunshine! They really are the Best Pre-school in Freehold!

I cannot say enough nice things about Sunshine Schoolhouse. From the moment you walk in, the only way to explain the atmosphere is pure sunshine. The teachers and staff are some of the most dedicated people I have ever met, and go out of their way to ensure that everyone who comes through their doors feels like a part of the Sunshine Schoolhouse family. I feel so blessed to have joined this happy family and have the opportunity to work in such a warm and welcoming environment :)

Hope Christian School for sure! Our son goes there and our daughter will be enrolling this fall. Great faculty and an all around great experience. Everything we are looking for with the additions of before and after care and a Spanish program for the preschoolers to boot!

Sunshine Schoolhouse is a wonderful place. The staff and co teachers are warm, friendly, and dedicated. I felt that my children were given a fantastic base of socializing, fun, and academics. I particularly like that they were able to incorporate God into the lessons and holiday celebrations. The parties, games, crafts, and holiday shows are memories to cherish forever!!

Sunshine Schoolhouse gets my vote 100%!!! When I toured the school, my first impression was that the school felt like "home." It felt like a group of the nicest, most welcoming moms/grandmas as teachers, with years of experience and education degrees and backgrounds as a bonus. In addition, the directors went out of their way to accomodate us with the classes we needed for our twins. After that tour I had absolutely no doubt where was the best place for my girls. If you are looking for a pre-school that will feel like family, while giving your child the social, educational and spiritual background to grow, choose Sunshine Schoolhouse. Just be prepared.... after a few days your child will be so excited to go to school, that they may not cry for you when you drop them off :) It's ok, they are in great hands!

Sunshine Schoolhouse is wonderful. After moving to a new area and having 3 children very close in age they made my daughters transition a perfect one. All of the staff are so loving and wonderful and take the time each and every day to say hello and how while also using our first names. Which to me showed we were not just a number. My daughters are also so happy there. My oldest is now in kindergarten and was beyond ready for school. I am very happy with Sunshine Schoolhouse.

I am so happy to see Sunshine Schoolhouse won! I always tell people it is like leaving your child with family there. My daughter, who is now 8 went there for 3 years and she is always wanting to return to visit. I will be sending my 2 year old there and can't wait to be a part of such a wonderful atmosphere once again. I highly recommend this school!
