The parade started at borough hall.

Downtown Freehold became a sea of Kelly green on Sunday as hundreds of area residents came out to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

The Freehold Borough Arts Council and the local Ancient Order of Hibernians presented the parade. According to the Freehold St. Patrick’s Day Parade Facebook page, the parade was only 747.5 feet long, but featured Grand Marshals, Irish Step dancing performances, bagpipes and the Monmouth County Police and Fire Pipe and Drum Corp.
