On Saturday, Freehold held its first ever all day racing, family fun, and educational event with the Open Space Pace Festival.
The Festival began by taking over Freehold Borough with a “Parade of Horses” down Main Street. The day continued at Freehold Raceway with celebrity and amateur races, live music, and family fun, while attendees learned about the importance of open space in the Garden State.

What a rip-off. Paid $15 for the "privilege" of standing behind the fenced off "VIP" area - felt like I was behind the Berlin wall!! No mention on the website that you had to bring your own chairs. A guy with one of the bands was handing his pass to friends in the "cheap" no seats section so that they could gain access to the VIP chairs. Others were taking off their "green" wristbands and handing them to their friends for access. Don't bother paying next time - just stand for free in the back.
