SPCA Community Pets Program Coming to Freehold

Adoption packages for residents available Aug. 22 to Aug. 28.

The Monmouth County SPCA’s Community Pets Program is spotlighting a town or group of towns each with special adoption promotions and gifts. Freehold Borough and Freehold Township will be featured Monday, Aug. 22 through Sunday, Aug. 28.

Any Freehold resident who adopts a pet during that week will receive free dog and cat adoption packages. The dog adoption package includes six weeks of training classes, a bag of Science diet food, a $10 gift card to Woof ‘n’ Whiskers Boutique, and an adoption swag bag. The cat adoption package includes an in-home enrichment package, a bag of Science diet food, a $10 gift card to Woof ‘n’ Whiskers Boutique, and an adoption swag bag.

The Monmouth County SPCA adoption center is located at 260 Wall St., Eatontown. The facility is open Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
