Sunny Skies on the Way

A list of five things you should know for Thursday, March 29.

 

Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today will start off cloudy and will gradually become sunny, with a high near 57. Overnight will be mostly clear with temperatures dropping to a low around 34.

High School Sports

The Freehold Patriots baseball and softball teams will scrimmage today. The boys freshman, jv and varsity teams will face off against Red Bank Catholic High School today. The freshman will take on RBC at home, while the jv and varsity teams travel to Red Bank. All three teams will begin at 3:45 p.m. The girls jv and varsity softball teams will take on Brick Township High School on the road today. The varsity game will begin at 3:45 p.m. while the jv game will begin at 4 p.m.

Support Groups

The First Presbyterian Church will have an AA meeting tonight at 8:15 p.m. This meeting is free to attend and open to everyone.

For Kids

Barns and Noble will hold their storytime and craft event today at 11 a.m. “Quiet Bunny's Many Colors” by Lisa McCue is the Storytime title of the day. For more information call the Freehold Barns and Noble at 732-409-2929.

Brush Collection

Brush collecting in Sector A will continue in Freehold Township today. The township asks that all brush be brought to the curb for pick up. To see the complete brush pick up schedule click here
