I have been an active volunteer within the school district for the past six years. Most recently, I served on the Strategic Planning committee in 2011,and volunteered on the BOE Funding & Finance committee. I have also held several positions on the Park Avenue Elementary School PTO Board, in addition to chairing the Basket Raffle for the past three years. Currently, as an appointed member of the BOE, I am serving on the committee to select the new teacher evaluation system, which will be an important tool as our schools continue to strive for educational excellence. I believe my background in business and marketing serve the district well as we evaluate the financial and educational impact of various decisions and I look forward to the continued opportunity to serve on the Board of Education.
