Several areas in freehold township now have power but JCP&L does not have a current status link where one can see how many more have their power restored. No updates yet on Freehold patch for Nov 3

What about Freehold Boro? The town and surrounding neighborhoods are dark. Does anyone have an ETA for restoration of power?

Can not understand why JCPL felt the Mall was more important to get power back and yet residents in and around the area are still in the dark. As earlier parties indicated, it is really cold at night and not having any heat is not fair.

@CoachPete you are so right! I am trying to understand the rationale in that strategy only thing comes to mind is this is a way to fuel the economy getting consumers to spend more money and they will just for survival and comfort!

No power on Georgia Road. No sign of JCPL trucks anywhere. The traffic lights that are on 537, 9 are all attached to portable generators.

Calling JCPL gets automated message: Could be 7 days, or maybe 14, or maybe 30.

I encourage everyone reading this to file a complaint with the State BPU, the Township Mayor and Congressman Smith.

No communication from JCPL, no updates and inadequate preparation.

Ticonderoga here. No power. Parts of Stonehurst and areas of Township by Boro got power last night. I saw on JCPL website they are forecasting another 1000-1500 people in the township to have their power back by the end of today. Let's hope it's our section. Keep everyone updated.

I urge everyone reading this who still has no power at Freehold Township to file a complaint with the Board of Public Utilities. Problems that I have experienced include: 1) No updates from JCP&L 2) No one answering telephone at JCP&L 3) Excessive wait time for power restoration. 4) Inadequate preparation for storm. They should have powered down the substations during the storm so they can be restarted after the storm without delay.

File complaint at http://www.nj.gov/bpu/assistance/complaints/inquiry.html
Contact Senator Smith at http://chrissmith.house.gov/contact/zipauth.htm
