Thank a Freehold First Responder
Tell us about an instance when a police officer, firefighter or EMT made a difference. We’ll profile a First Responder of the Month based on your comments.
First responders come to you during your darkest hour.
When an electrical fire sparks in your attic, Freehold Borough firefighters converge on your street. A Freehold First Aid & Rescue Squad member safely transports your mother to the hospital during a medical emergency. On the side of Route 9, a Freehold Township police officer waits with your son for a tow truck to haul away his car after it has broken down. Or maybe a Freehold Borough sergeant saves a piece of community artwork.
First responders serve their communities in ways great and small, in ways that may touch everyone in Freehold or perhaps mean everything in the world to one person. We want to hear about the impact a specific Freehold police officer, firefighter or EMS volunteer had on your life.
In the comments section below, nominate someone for Freehold First Responder of the Month.
Tell us how that person has gone above and beyond for you or another Freehold resident. Freehold Patch Local Editor Alli Mechanic will go through your comments and profile one police officer, firefighter or EMS volunteer next month.
This is your chance to give a shout out to a public servant who made a difference.

Thanks, Jackie. That's exactly the type of feedback we're looking for as we look to recognize an area first responder. And thanks, Jack, for your service!

Officers from Freehold Borough are always there for my family when my son has a medical emergency. He has uncontrolled seizures, so it is as scary for them as it for us. Officers Vega and Papp were there for us. They stuck with us til additional help arrived. Thank you both for you selfless service.
