The Week Ahead: Halloween Activities, Meetings, and Delayed Openings

A list of events and activities going on in Freehold this week.

 

Halloween Activities

Barns and Noble will host a “Spook”tacular Halloween Kids Power Hour of Fun. The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. This event is free and will be a Halloween story, craft, snack and more. 

The Cemetery ClubCenter Players current production will launch their 2012-13 season on Oct. 26 at Freehold’s award-winning resident theater company. For more information visit the event’s Patch listing.

Get Out

The Cryers, a New Jersey pure roots-rock band, will play with Ambrosia, the five-time Grammy nominated group at the American Hotel in Downtown Freehold on Thursday, Oct. 25, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $25, for more information visit the event’s listing.

Government

The Freehold Township Committee will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. The meeting’s agenda can be seen here.

The Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustment’s Thursday night meeting has been cancelled this week.

The Freehold Township Recreation Commission will meet at Michael J. Tighe Park. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Freehold Borough Historic Preservation Committee will meet on Monday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

The Freehold Borough Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m.

School News

Students at the FRHSD will have a delayed opening on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
