Update: Second Man Accused of Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder

Freehold Township Police arrested a second man in connection with the Burlington Coat Factory parking lot robbery.
The police arrested an East Orange man on Thursday for allegedly committing an armed robbery along with Caleb Applewhite in the parking lot of the Burlington Coat Factory.

According to the complaint warrant, Brian Buchanan, 23, allegedly robbed Brandon Randolph of marijuana using a handgun in the in Freehold Township parking lot.
According to police documents, Buchanan is charged with conspiracy with another to commit armed robbery, utilizing a handgun to commit robbery, unlawfully possessing a handgun, possessing a hadgun for unlawful purpose, and attempt to commit murder.
Buchanan has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Total bail is set at $300,000.
He is scheduled for a first appearance in court on Feb. 28 at 8 a.m. Police are still investigating.
