Urban SociaLites to Host Job Fair at YMCA

Both employers and job-seekers wanted for 2nd Annual USL Job Fair at the borough YMCA.

Urban SociaLites (USL), a full service social and entertainment company, is hosting a job fair and they are looking for employers to sign-up.

USL will host the 2nd Annual Job Fair on Thursday, May 17th starting at 10:00 a.m. at the in Freehold.

Ayasha Roberson, job fair coordinator, says the group has been helping local New Jersey businesses since June of 2010.

“We originally started as a business to business networking company. However we have expanded our company, we have over 2,000 professional who have joined our online Network,” she explained. The network is free to join at www.urbansocialitesnj.com.

Roberson says the organization is expecting about 50 employers or more to attend and they are still looking for employers to register. (Registration form can be downloaded above this article)

Last year’s job fair brought lots of local and regional opportunities to the Freehold area. “Last year we had Centrastate Medical Center, Six Flags Great Adventures, Opportunity Knocks, Monmouth County Superior Court, Silpada Jewelry Company, Pri-America, David Lerner Financial Group, Fairleigh Dickinson University etc.”

The cost to participate in job fair $75 per company and the deadline to register is Friday, May 11, 2012.

The job fair is free for job-seekers. Roberson gave a few tips for those looking to attend: be prepared; bring at least 5 copies of your resume with cover letters (if possible); wear business attire.
