Open House with History Slide Show & Refreshments -- The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County invites its friends and neighbors to an Open House with History Slide Show and Refreshments on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 from 10 am to 3 pm. On view is the exhibit “The Way I Lived It” by artist and sculptor Monica Camin. The Speakers Bureau will present a slide show on “The History of the Jews of Monmouth County In Town, On the Farm, And At the Shore” at 1 pm. All events are free to the public. “The Way I Lived It” exhibition has been extended to February 28, 2013 due to Post-Tropical Storm Sandy. The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the County's Jewish heritage.
This non-profit organization, which was established in 2006, features a multimedia exhibit space that is open to the public three days each week. It is located in the 19th Century Levi Solomon Barn at the back of the Mounts Corner Shopping Center (Route 537 and Wemrock Rd) in Freehold Township.
