Retro Fitness of Howell to Host “Give Me Your Spit” Bone Marrow Donor Swab Drive
WHAT/WHY: A Longtime friend of the Retro Fitness family was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. With the help of Smiles4Shira and DKMS, Retro Fitness and Let’s YO! will be hosting “Give Me Your Spit” swab drives to help find a potential bone marrow donor match for those who have been diagnosed with blood cancer. At the “Give Me Your Spit” drives, community residents can take action and register as a potential donor with just a simple cheek swab.
WHEN: November 24-25, 2012 at participating Let’s YO! locations and November 26-27, 2012 at participating Retro Fitness locations. Hours of the drive will vary at each location.
WHERE: Participating Retro Fitness and Let’s YO! locations nationwide. To find your nearest participating location, please visit www.RetroFitness.net or www.letsyoyogurt.com.
WHO: If you are healthy and between the ages 18-55, five minutes of your time could give a lifetime to another. All local community members, friends and family are encouraged to participate.
