Literacy Volunteers of MOnmouth County will be offering U.S. Citizenship Preparation Classes beginning Monday, September 17th through Monday, November 12, 2012, from 7 to 9 pm. at the Brookdale Community College's Higher Education Center, 213 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740. This class is recommended for permanent residents (green card status) applying for US Citizenship in 2012/2013. Students should have English speaking, reading and writing skills. Classes will cover the Naturalization Process, US History, Civics, Testing, Interview Practice and N-400 Application Content. Class size is limited to 20 students. Please contact the LV Monmouth County office to register either at lvmonmouth@brookdalecc.edu or calling 732-571-0209. There is a $10 fee for books and materials.
