Busy Wednesday Planned in Freehold

A look at events happening in Freehold on Wednesday January 29, 2014.

There is a group that meets every week in Freehold aiming to help people battling depression, anxiety or just having a difficult time.

The group is known as GROW in NJ meets at 7 p.m. at 11 Spring Street and group meetings are free but donations are encouraged. For more information call 732-228-0932 or Margo at 732-575-5766 or Caroline at 732-295-1545.

Our area could see another two inches of snow between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning but once the accumulation clears the Freehold Barnes & Noble will be holding a special story time event. Starting at 11 a.m. the book What’s Your Favorite Animal by Eric Carle will be featured.

The National Weather Service is calling for a mostly cloudy day as the snow passes followed by sunshine and a high near 24 degrees. A windchill will make that temperature feel closer to zero during the day. When the sun goes down the temperature is expected to drop to around eight as a low on a mostly clear night.
