CentraState Hosting Fashion Show Fundraiser Thursday Night

Beauty pageant royalty will be coming to Freehold on Thursday night when Miss New Jersey 2013 Cara McCollum makes an appearance at CentraState Healthcare Foundation’s 2014 King/Queen Contest and Fashion Show.

The show is being held at Encore Events Center at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Xplosive Entertainment with photography by David Todd Photography and hair and makeup by Avanti Day Resort. The clothes worn by the models will be provided by Lord & Taylor and the event will also include a gift auction, women’s health information and prizes and giveaways.

Proceeds benefit the Star and Barry Tobias Women’s Health Center at CentraState Medical Center and tickets are $45 at the door. The admission cost includes hors d’oeuvres, two complimentary drinks, coffee and dessert.

Patchy fog that rolled in Wednesday night will burn off later this morning making way for a mostly cloudy day. The National Weather Service is calling for a high around 75 degrees but that will likely drop to around 55 tonight. There is also a 60 percent chance of showers tonight that will clear up before a mostly sunny day on Friday.
