Flu Shots Available Tuesday in Freehold

Cold and Flu season is right around the corner and today in Freehold you can do something to stop the spread of Flu while also getting a good meal to benefit a local tradition.

A flu shot clinic will be held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Freehold Elks Lodge. The clinic is for residents only and all people getting shots must be 18-years-old or older. The cost is $20 but the shot is free for seniors who bring their Medicare card.

There is also a fundraiser being held all day at San Marzano Trattoria in downtown Freehold. Over the course of the day the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the pre-tax food bill to the Freehold Memorial Day Parade Committee.

The high temperature is expected to be around 71 under a mostly sunny sky. The low tonight looks to be around 56 with patch fog that should linger through parts of Wednesday before storms are possible Wednesday night.
