Freehold Planning Board Wraps Up 2013 on Thursday

A look at events happening in Freehold on Thursday December 19, 2013.

The Freehold Township Planning Board will have a quiet end to 2013 on Thursday night with the last regularly scheduled meeting of the year.

On the agenda is a pair of resolutions to be memorialized from their previous meeting regarding proposed construction by New Jersey Natural Gas on Route 33 near The Cabin. The board members are also scheduled to discuss recommendations from the Technical Review Committee about applications that will be ready for public hearing in the new year.

Members of the board and the public who attend the meeting will need their full winter gear for the night even as the National Weather Service calls for a warm day on Thursday. The high for today is expected to be near 49 on a mostly sunny day before dropping down near 34 on a partly cloudy night.
