Networking Group Kicks Off 2014 Friday in Freehold

A look at events happening in Freehold on Friday January 10, 2014.

A local networking group will hold its first event of the year on Friday morning when the Entrepreneurial Think Tank For Moms meets to kick off 2014 on a high note.

The event is being held at 800 West Main Street and will include group founders Lynette Barbieri and Vanessa Coppes. To RSVP call 732-232-1251.

Anyone going to the event or leaving the house on Friday will want to keep an umbrella handy as the National Weather Service is calling for wet weather straight through Saturday. There is a chance of rain or freezing rain before 7 a.m. That precipitation is expected to then change to rain during an otherwise cloudy day with a high near 44 degrees.

The 40 percent chance of showers continues into tonight when the rain is expected to return after 10 p.m. with a low of around 39 degrees expected. Rain is expected to return Saturday afternoon on an otherwise warm day. After several days this week with temperatures hovering near zero the high on Saturday is expected to be close to 61 degrees with a low of around 41 on Saturday night.
