Pop Warner Teams to be Recognized During Township Committee Meeting

A look at events happening in Freehold on Tuesday January 28, 2014.

Before January comes to an end the Freehold Township Committee will hold one last meeting to close out the first month of the year.

The agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting includes items ranging from honoring two local youth football teams to designating an area of the township as an Area in Need of Redevelopment.

Tuesday is expected to be the first in a string of freezing cold days. The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day with a high near 19 but a wind chill dropping that to feeling close to five degrees below zero. There is at least a 30 percent chance of snow tonight especially before 1 a.m. The low temperature is expected to be around 11 degrees and only an inch of accumulation is expected.
