Public Hearings on Township Committee Agenda Tuesday

A look at events happening in Freehold on Tuesday November 12, 2013.

The Freehold Township Committee is scheduled to meet for the first time since Election Day on Tuesday. The full agenda has not been posted on the township’s website but there are public hearings set to be held.

There is also a hearing scheduled for an ordinance relating to graphic display signs for locations with an entertainment event center. The third public hearing is to appropriate $750,000 already in the Capital Improvement Fund to be used for the emergency replacement of a culvert on Stonehurst Boulevard.

Even as late as Monday night the forecast for Tuesday was not completely clear about whether our area will see rain, snow or both. There is likely to be a mix of both mostly before 9 a.m. before shifting to a mostly sunny day with a high near 43 degrees. Less than half an inch of total precipitation is expected to fall. Tonight looks to be mostly clear with a low near 25 according to the most recent forecast.
