Rainy Forecast Could Dampen Summer Concert Series

A look at events happening in and around Freehold on Tuesday August 13, 2013.

The wet weather that was supposed to arrive on Monday held off just long enough for a beautiful summer day. According to the National Weather Service, we will not be as lucky on Tuesday as close to three quarters of an inch of rain is expected to blanket our area.

With the rain the high temperature for Tuesday is expected to be around 79 degrees with a low of 61 at night. The rain could continue into tonight before clearing up on Wednesday.

If the rain holds off or clears up on time the Freehold Raceway Mall will host the latest in its summer concert series with Nine Deeez Night. The show starts at 6 p.m. and is expected to run until 8 p.m. weather permitting.

Voting in the special primary election for the US Senate will also be happening around the township today. Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. for the special primary elections.
