Snow and a Borough Council Meeting on Tuesday's Agenda

A look at events happening in Freehold on Tuesday January 21, 2014.

Depending on when the snow comes and how much accumulation it brings will determine how many events scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday in Howell actually happen.

The Freehold Township Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night at Borough Hall. Several local organizations are scheduled to be recognized at the meeting including the national champion cheerleaders from the Greater Freehold Area Pop Warner league and the state champion field hockey team from Freehold Borough High School.

Members of the Freehold Borough Police Department are also set to be recognized with various commendations for their service to the borough. Special recognition will also be given to Thomas P. Hartman Sr. for 50 years of service to the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad.
